Charade was released in 1963. Cary Grant was 59 years old when it came out and Audrey Hepburn was only 34. Quite the difference. But yet they were both beautiful people that seemed to work pretty well together.

While watching this movie all I could think was "Coats!Coats!Coats!" Audrey's coats were adorable, to say the very least. They are all brightly colored and I know many girls that would commit murder to get their hands on some of those coats, especially if they looked that good in them.
Well enough about this... I need to finish up at least one of my drafts on here so you all have something interesting to read.
Grant is one of my favorites despite and because of his many quirks. I suspect my all time favorite was his last film: "Walk, don't Run"
ReplyDeleteOh man that is one of my favorite movies! It's just fantastic.
ReplyDeleteIn that movie I love all his phone conversations on the phone with his wife. "I'm staying with a young lady that reminds me of you... about twenty-three... You're welcome darling."
ReplyDeleteCharade rocks all the way!! I love it! The leads are terrific, Mancini's music is awesome, the lines are so witty ("I already know an awful lot of people and until one of them dies I couldn't possibly meet anyone else." LOL)...and Paris! Lovely blog u have here ^^
ReplyDeletecharade is one of my favorites! nice blog, following for sure :)
ReplyDeleteGrant got better looking as he got older. Why is this often true of men and not women? Hardly seems fair...
ReplyDeleteMy favorites? Operation Petticoat and Father Goose
